I had just returned from a trip to the Carpathian Mountains, so full and inspired. I brought an armful of sunflowers to the studio and painted them from life. Those were happy moments. This painting was later purchased in 2022 and shipped to a collector in Japan. I am deeply grateful, as the proceeds from this sale greatly supported our family during the forced evacuation from Ukraine. I deeply appreciate it.
